• A normal consultation without memory assessment in a clinic takes up to 60 min (£400). This includes writing a full report and coordinating care with the GP.

  – Session 1 (Pre-consultation): Before your appointment, you will be asked to complete structured pre-consultation questionnaires (patient and/or carer). These are not simple forms — they are validated clinical tools used to assess multiple domains. They will be reviewd  and interpreted.  It will help to prepare a clinical summary before the appointment. This preparation typically takes around one hour and forms an important part of the overall assessment process.
  – Session 2 (Clinic consultation): You will have detailed comprehensive assessment (up to 60 min). You may be asked to undergo further cognitive assessment. The outcome of the appointment and future care plan will be discussed. A final report will be shared with you and GP.

• If consultaion exceeds the expected duration, then EXTRA £100 is payable for every 15 min. This is possibile due to complexity of issues affecting you.
• Re-assessment of your health condition after 3 months is counted as a ‘New’ consultation.

Assessment in your own home will cost more and depnds upon your distance from Claremont Hospital (see below).
